The TALUS Turbo Dryer is a highly efficient inline air drying system for processing drilled/undrilled circuit boards. The TTD provides high volume and high pressure. Six air knives supplied with air from a high speed turbine give drying up to speeds of 16 feet per minute with an optional heat package.

The Turbo Dryer may be used separately or as a part of a complete processing line. The conveyor system is a heavy duty worm gear type, and each section of the drive system on this module (input, dry, unload) is isolated within its own functioning area. Two sets of pinch-rollers prior to the drying section effectively increase drying efficiency

Design Features:

A 5HP turbine blower provides filtered air to six (3 upper and 3 lower) air knives. Pinch rollers are provided through the drying chamber to convey parts uniformly. Blower controls are located on the main panel. A sloped pan with 1” drain is below the air knives for removal of residual water

The conveyor system is TALUS’s heavy duty worm gear type and may be independently driven or slaved to other units. A 12” input and 15” output open conveyor is an integral part of the TTD module. The input section of the TRD (rinse/dryer) module is a standard single rinse chamber with 4-spray bars (2up-2down).
