Facilities

Electrical:

480 VAC, 20A, 3 Phase, 60 Hz

Compressed Air

90 psi minimum;

50 - 100 scfm, depending on pressure setting

Air must be clean and dry, free of oil and other contaminants

Drainage

A 1 ½ " NPT drainage pipe must be connected to the drain outlet and piped to the proper handling facility.

Environment:

The Vertical Etcher requires one (1) exhaust blower be present. This blower should be capable of 100cfm. Proper ducting must also be supplied from the machine to the blower and from the blower to outside ventilation. Depending on the daily production rate and the volume of contaminants generated, a "Permit to Operate" and/or a secondary exhaust and drainage treatment for the removal of contaminants may be required. Please Consult with the appropriate local regulatory agencies before placing the Vertical Etching system into service.

Safety

Follow all safety precautions recommended by the supplier of each chemical used in the system.

The chemicals used in the machine are under pressure. Always wear safety goggles and/or face shields when in the vicinity of pressurized equipment

Doors to spray chamber and transfer area may only be open when servicing the equipment or when carrying out set-up or clean-up procedures

Always keep all doors of the Vertical Etcher closed when operating

In case of any emergency, hit the red mushroom "STOP" button on the control console to turn off all power services

The power panel should not be opened when power is on -Danger, High Voltage. Unit should only be serviced by qualified electrician or Gyrex service personnel
