Microdryer

The Gyrex Microdryer completes the Microline system and features an infrared emitter with high temperature preheater which will completely cure photoresist coated substrates in 15 to 55 seconds depending upon coating thickness, type of resist, type of substrate and speed of transit.

Microdryers are available in three models:

Model 92	For Substrates up to 9" wide
Model 452	For Substrates up to 16" wide
Model 652	For Substrates up to 24" wide

The preheater has two fixed temperature settings: Low 800°F (425°C) and High 1300°F (700°C). The main heater incorporates a continuously variable proportional control to a maximum face-plate temperature of 570°F (300°C). This allows the unit to heat uniformly from inside to outside of the coating while the Microdryer’s simple controls allow accurate adjustment of the heat cycle as the solvent is reduced.

The Microdryer, like the Leveling Conveyor, can be used in multiples, end to end, to increase the versatility of the Microline system. Example: some films cannot be cured without damage at temperatures above 200°F. By adding another Microdryer, extended drying time is provided, allowing safe, complete curing of the coating.
