Model 2500 Double Sided Spray Coater

The Gyrex Model 2500 double sided High Volume Low Pressure Spray Coater was developed in response to customer requests for a small, economically priced and user friendly Coating System for LPI solder mask, primary liquid resist and conformal coatings. The Model 2500 is about the size of a standard exposure unit which makes it easy to install and operate at a minimum floor space cost. 

The unique closed loop heated ink system results in ink stability throughout the coating process. The PLC (programmable logic controls) are user friendly and insure repeatability panel to panel. The PLC also makes it possible to change panel sizes and coating parameters within minutes. This is especially beneficial when multiple part numbers with relatively small panel lots are required. Inks can also be changed within minutes. 

The Model 2500 with its unique coating process, simplifies the the normally difficult task when using alternate coating techniques into an easy process.

Process Outline:

  1. Load Panel
  2. Panel indexes in 1/2" steps while spray traverses
  3. Panel rotates 180°
  4. Panel indexes back through spray area to coat reverse side
  5. Unload Panel
